For those of us who live in the Mani in Southern Greece, John and Lilian,s arrival many years ago added another very welcome dimension to our lives and experiences. This was manifest in Johns foundation of the Wine Group fired by his leadership, inspiration and enthusiasm. John,s expertise far surpassed the combined knowledge of all the rest of us, but the wonderful thing was that he inspired and empowered us to become much more informed wine appreciators. Thank you John, we will miss you greatly.
